"All good things must come to an end. "

- Author H.H. Riley (1857) on Permanence and Change

January 2008.  After 6 years, the sands of time have run their course, and The Merrimack Valley Marauders  is  shutting down its operation.  MVM Posse members have blended into The Great Nor'easter crew in an effort to continue to make the Nor'easter the premier event that is has become.  With all the planning and work that goes into such an event, there's just  nothing left for the sort of events that we have been doing since we started in 2001.

I'll leave this website up for a while to give people a last chance to look over the history.  Be sure to see the "Previous Years" section.

A huge amount of thanks to Sheriff Rusty P Bucket who joined us at the beginning, and became the guiding light, leading us into this new bigger-better era.

See you at The Great Nor'easter!

The Merrimack Valley Marauders was formed in 2001 at the Pelham Fish and Game Club by a group of individuals who grew up watching Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and all the unforgettable good guys of years gone by.

We’ve come a long way since then and we’re striving to do even better. 2006 was a special year for us. We had the honor of hosting the 1st annual SASS™ New England Regional Championship, The Great Nor’easter.

None of this would have been possible without the support from all of the New England cowboys and cowgirls and their local clubs. The SASS™ New England Regional Championship, The Great Nor’easter, was our greatest undertaking and was fantastic event. It was such a success, we're doing it again this July. Clicl in the Nor'easter logo for official details and schedule. Hope to see you in there!!
