Scenario: A snake oil salesman has come to town and a crowd is gathering to catch the show. Professor Mo Hare is peddling his so-called Patented Cure All Tonic for all types of aches and pains. You and the other deputies mix in among the crowd to keep a close eye on the situation. As the Professor babbles on about how the tonic is made his gang of associates are moving through the crowd “selling” the product with pistols drawn. He rambles on, “The method comprises the steps of: dividing a multi-digit code into a plurality of parts, assigning each attribute to a different part, and, within each part, assigning a different numerical code to each different value of the attribute." You know any one talking this funny has to be crooked.

Scenario: Your partner took ill after spending a wild weekend in Big Tooth Betty’s Cat House. Now you have to drive the stage between Tulsa and Wichita all by yourself, hoping the whole time that nobody heard that you’re carrying the miner’s payroll when a bloodthirsty band of desperados attacks! It’s your job to save the strongbox and the stage.

But not all Injuns want their picture took, so while he uses his big black box he asks you to use his little black box while you fight off the hostile ones.

Scenario: The rivers throughout the Merrimack Valley are running nice and high. The majestic paddleboat, The Spicket Queen was holding a faro tournament on the river. Her captain is a filthy scoundrel so when the moon hides behind some clouds you steal a raft and quietly sneak aboard. You’ve just stolen the grand prize from the safe and are floating away home free when you hear the captain yelling something about “Dead or Alive”!
