How wrong Maw was!

Scenario: You moved out West a few years ago to find your fortune. You’ve been away for a while and thought you’d send a telegram back to your dear Ol’ Momma and let her know your doing ok. You’re takin’ your time figurin’ out what to say when a ruckus outside the Telegraph office catches your attention. A brawl has broken out between some of the boys from your ranch and a local gang of hooligans. You start outside to make sure they stay out of trouble when those dirty townies pull their shooting irons and leave you no choice but to get involved.

Scenario: As you crawl your aching bones out of your bed roll this morning, you wonder how anybody can get a good night’s sleep on this rocky ground. It was your third night on the trail and you’re looking forward to reaching El Paso later today and sleeping on a nice soft mattress at “Big Eared Molly’s” Boarding House. You get a roaring campfire going to cook up a nice hot breakfast of fried eggs before you get back on the trail when you notice a large pack of coyotes slowly movin’ in. You don’t know if they want your breakfast or if they want you for breakfast.

A Dying Business Stage #5

Scenario: You’re the best coffin maker in the territory but business has been dying off lately. Things could be picking up though. As you look to the East end of town you see a bunch of sheep men from down Rot Gut Gulch way comin’ into town to buy supplies. From the West end of the street ride a dozen cowhands from the Bar-W. As the shootin’ starts, you join in just to drum up a little more business. But be careful you don’t end up being a customer yourself!

Scenario: You’ve served 3 months of your 20 year sentence and you figger’ that’s long enough. After all, the bank you robbed wasn’t THAT big. Your gang has smuggled some guns and ammo into the prison and you’re goin’ to blast your way out!
